Chocolate Chip Cookies
- 1 c. butter
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1 c. sugar
- 2 1/2 c. oatmeal, blended into flour
- 12 oz. bag chocolate chips
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 grated (8 oz.) Hershey bar
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp. baking powder
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 3/4 c. self-rising flour
- 3/4 c. sugar
- 3/4 c. milk
- 1 large can sliced peaches
- Melt margarine in a 2-quart casserole dish. In a medium bowl, combine flour, sugar and milk; beat with a wire whisk. Carefully pour the batter into the center of the melted margarine.
- DO NOT STIR. Next, pour peaches (juice included) into the center of the batter.
- The fruit will spread on its own so do not mix.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 40 minutes or until top is golden brown. Scoop into bowls and serve with ice cream or whipped topping.
- Serves 6 to 8.
