Easy Chocolate Freeze
- 2 c. chocolate cookie crumbs
- 6 Tbsp. melted margarine
- 1 (8 sq.) pkg. semi-sweet chocolate
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 3 eggs
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 5 1/4 c. Cool Whip, thawed
- Line 9 x 5-inch loaf pan with waxed paper.
- Extend over sides. Mix crumbs with 6 tablespoons margarine; set aside.
- Melt 7 squares chocolate and margarine over very low heat, stirring constantly. Cool.
- Beat eggs in large bowl.
- Beat in sugar at high speed of mixer until thick about 10 minutes.
- Fold in chocolate mixture and vanilla, then 4 cups of Cool Whip.
- Spoon about 1 1/2 cups into pan.
- Sprinkle 2/3 cup cookie crumbs; press lightly.
- Repeat layers.
- Freeze overnight.
- Garnish with remaining Cool Whip and drizzle with chocolate.
