Fresh Tomato Tart(6 Servings)

  1. Line a 10-inch tart pan with pie pastry.
  2. Prick crust well and bake according to package directions.
  3. Cool.
  4. Slice tomatoes and place in layers in tart pan.
  5. Sprinkle with salt and pepper (I use "Old George's" original seasoning; it's good) and basil.
  6. In a small bowl, combine mayonnaise, Parmesan cheese and garlic powder. Spread mixture over tomato slices.
  7. Mixture will not completely cover tomatoes.
  8. Sprinkle with cracker crumbs.
  9. Bake Tomato Tart at 400u0b0 for 15 minutes.
