Oatmeal Caramelitas

  1. In a large bowl combine 1 cup flour, oatmeal, brown sugar, soda, salt and melted butter.
  2. Blend well to form crumbs.
  3. Press 1/2 of crumbs into bottom of 11 x 7-inch pan.
  4. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  5. Remove from oven.
  6. Sprinkle with chocolate chips and pecans.
  7. Blend caramel topping and 3 tablespoons flour.
  8. Pour over chocolate and pecans to cover.
  9. Sprinkle with remaining crumb mixture.
  10. Bake 15 to 20 minutes at 350u0b0.
  11. Chill 1 to 2 hours.
  12. Cut into bars.
