Cinnamon Rolls
- 1 yellow cake mix
- 2 pkg. yeast
- 5 c. flour
- 2 1/2 c. hot water
- 4 Tbsp. butter
- brown sugar
- cinnamon
- nuts (optional)
- 1 stick margarine
- 4 Tbsp. brown sugar
- 3 Tbsp. light corn syrup
- Mix dry cake mix, yeast and flour thoroughly.
- Add hot water and mix well.
- Let rise to double in size.
- Cut in half; roll to rectangular shape.
- Melt butter and spread over rolled dough. Sprinkle with brown sugar, cinnamon and nuts.
- Roll like a jelly roll; cut in 1 1/4-inch slices.
- Place on greased cookie sheet. Repeat with remaining dough.
- Cover and let rise to double in size.
- Mix together 1 stick melted butter, brown sugar and corn syrup.
- Spread over top of roll just prior to baking.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes.
- Be sure cookie sheet has sides.
