Uncle Harry'S Noodle Casserole
- 1 lb. chopped meat or ground turkey
- 1 pkg. onion soup mix
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 can cream of tomato soup
- garlic powder to taste
- 1 (12 oz.) bag wide noodles
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0. Bring 6 quarts of salted water to a boil, add noodles and cook "al dente."
- (You want noodles undercooked because they will finish in the baking.) Drain.
- In a preheated, heavy skillet, saute the ground beef or turkey over medium heat until it is brown.
- Drain off any fat.
- Add the soups and the garlic powder to the meat and saute for 3 minutes to blend the flavors.
- Fold the mixture into the noodles, put in a lasagna pan and bake in the oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
- While this recipe serves four, it is easily doubled.
