Frozen Mocha Cheesecake
- 1 1/4 c. chocolate cookie crumbs (24 Oreos, cream scraped off)
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. butter, melted
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 (14 oz.) can condensed milk
- 2/3 c. chocolate syrup
- 1 Tbsp. instant coffee
- 1 tsp. hot water
- 1 c. (1/2 pt.) whipping cream, whipped
- shaved chocolate (optional)
- In a small bowl, combine crumbs, sugar and butter.
- In a buttered 9 x 13-inch pan, pat crumbs firmly on bottom and sides. Chill.
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
- Add milk and syrup.
- In a small cup, dissolve the instant coffee in hot water.
- Add to chocolate mixture; mix well.
- Fold in the whipped cream.
- Pour into prepared pan.
- Freeze 6 hours or until firm.
- If desired, garnish with chocolate shavings.
- Return leftovers to freezer.
- Makes 12 to 15 servings.
