Mom'S Lasagne

  1. Cook lasagne noodles. Brown meat in skillet with onion. Stir in tomato sauce, paste, spices and 1/2 cup of water. Simmer 1 hour, adding remaining water as needed. Sauce should be very thick. Mix Parmesan and Ricotta cheeses. Add some parsley to mixture, if desired. Layer in a greased 9 x 13-inch pan. Add cooked noodles, sauce, cheese mixture and Mozzarella. Repeat layers, then top with a little more Parmesan, if desired. Bake about 30 minutes at 350u0b0. Let set for 20 minutes before cutting.
