Aroz Saudi(Fragrant Saudi Rice)

  1. Melt butter and brown meat evenly on all sides. Add cloves, cinnamon, salt, pepper and ground cardamom to meat and stir-fry about 10 minutes. Pour three cups boiling water over meat and cover.
  2. Let cook for one hour on a medium-high heat, until meat is done.
  3. Measure the broth left in a measuring cup. Add water to have a total of 3-1/2 cups liquid.
