Green Tomato Relish

  1. Skin tomatoes by placing in hot water. Slice into large 4 quart container.
  2. Slice onions and peppers into the container. Stir in sugar, vinegar, salt, red pepper and bag containing cinnamon
  3. and
  4. cloves.
  5. Cook
  6. slowly
  7. a long time, about 3 hours, until
  8. the sauce thickens.
  9. Remove spice bag.
  10. Place in sterile pint jars and seal.
  11. Process 10 minutes.
