Creamy Ham And Chicken Medley

  1. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in large saucepan over medium heat; add mushrooms and cook until tender, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from saucepan; set aside.
  3. Melt 1/3 cup butter in saucepan over low heat; add flour, stirring until smooth.
  4. Cook 1 minute, stirring constantly.
  5. Gradually add 2 1/2 cups milk; cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and bubbly. Stir in whipping cream and next 5 ingredients.
  6. Cook, stirring constantly, until cheese melts and mixture is smooth; stir in ham and chicken.
  7. Add enough of remaining 1/2 cup milk for a thinner consistency, if desired.
  8. To serve, spoon into shells and sprinkle with paprika.
  9. Yields 12 servings.
