Baked Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 2 - 6 oz. cans tomato paste
- 1 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 2 bay leaves
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/2 pkg. lasagna noodles
- 1 - 16 oz. pkg. mozzarella cheese
- 1 - 16 oz. container ricotta or cottage cheese
- Brown meat and onion.
- Drain well.
- Add all other ingredients except noodles and cheeses.
- Simmer at least one hour.
- Add ricotta or cottage cheese.
- Cook noodles according to package directions.
- In large casserole dish, layer noodles, meat sauce, and half of mozzarella cheese.
- Repeat layers, ending with cheese. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes.
- Let sit for 15 to 20 minutes before serving.
