Lumber Jack Bean Bake

  1. Fry
  2. bacon
  3. crisp; drain.
  4. In the usual amount of bacon drippings
  5. or
  6. margarine,
  7. add onion and sweet pepper and cook until
  8. tender.
  9. Add
  10. bacon and cook 5 minutes.
  11. Stir in sugar, vinegar,
  12. mustard, garlic salt and salt and simmer 15 minutes. In a large casserole (4 quart), combine the 4 types of beans; toss lightly
  13. to mix.
  14. Spoon bacon mixture over top of beans. Bake, uncovered,
  15. in
  16. preheated
  17. oven
  18. at
  19. 350u0b0
  20. for 50 to 60 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbly.
