Coconut Cake

  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each.
  3. Beginning with flour, add milk and flour alternately and end with milk, beating after each addition.
  4. Blend in vanilla. Pour batter into three generously greased and floured 8-inch cake pans.
  5. Bake in a 350u0b0 oven for 25 minutes.
  6. Cool layers before removing (about 15 to 20 minutes).
  7. After removing layers, slice each layer in half to make a six layer cake.
