B~B~Q Spareribs
- 5 lbs. boneless country pork ribs, salted and peppered
- 1/2 large onion, diced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. butter or margarine
- 1 64 oz. bottle ketchup
- 2/3 bottle water
- 1/3 c. brown sugar
- 1/2 tsp. prepared mustard
- 1/4 c. apple cider vinegar
- 2 or 3 dashed Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper (optional)
- Brown pork in a 325 oven for 1 hour, or cook on the grill until nicely browned on all sides.
- In a large stock pot, saute onion and garlic in butter.
- When translucent add all other ingredients. Bring to low simmer.
- Add browned meat.
- Cover and simmer on low for 3 hours.
- Meat should be falling apart.
- Serve over rice.
