Clinton Cookie

• 2 1/2 c. quick oats
• 1 1/4 c. flour
• 1 tsp. baking powder
• 1 tsp. baking soda
• 1/4 tsp. salt
• 1 c. creamy or crunchy peanut butter
• 1 c. sugar
• 1 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. mashed ripe bananas
• 1 egg
• 1 tsp. vanilla
• 1 c. margarine

1. The Best Foods Test Kitchen has created a cookie in honor of President Clinton that can be decorated with stars, stripes, or a Bill Clinton caricature.
2. The idea for combining peanut butter and bananas into a Clinton cookie was made at the suggestion of an employee at the Skippy Peanut Butter Manufacturing Plant in Little Rock, Arkansas.
3. The company said peanut butter and bananas are one of President Clinton's favorite sandwich combos.
