X-Tra Fancy Pound Cake

  1. Sift flour with baking powder, salt and mace.
  2. Cream butter thoroughly.
  3. Gradually add 10x sugar, creaming well.
  4. Continue beating until light and fluffy.
  5. Blend in extracts and add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
  6. Add dry ingredients alternately with milk.
  7. Begin and end with dry ingredients.
  8. Blend thoroughly on low speed after each addition.
  9. Stir in nuts.
  10. Turn into well-greased 10-inch tube pan.
  11. Bake at 325u0b0 for 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 hours.
  12. Cool and frost, if desired.
