Flavorful Grilled Flank Steak

  1. In a bowl, combine the first 7 ingredients. Cover and refrigerate 1/2 cup for basting. Pour the remaining marinade into a shallow dish; add flank steak and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate for 8 hours or overnight, turning once.
  2. Drain and discard marinade from steak. Grill, uncovered, over medium heat for 6-10 minutes on each side or until meat reaches desired doneness (for medium-rare, a thermometer should read 135u0b0; medium, 140u0b0; medium-well, 170u0b0), basting occasionally with reserved marinade. Thinly slice meat across the grain.
