Country Breakfast Pie
- 1 pkg. sausage (your brand)
- 1 (9-inch) pastry shell (unbaked)
- 1 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped red bell pepper
- 2 tsp. chopped onion
- 4 eggs, lightly beaten
- 1 c. light cream
- 1 (9-inch) pie crust (deep dish)
- 1/2 c. milk
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 eggs, slightly beaten
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 1/2 c. diced, cooked ham or chicken
- 1 1/2 c. cubed Swiss cheese
- 1/3 c. chopped green pepper
- 1/3 c. chopped onion
- Mix ingredients and bake at 350u0b0 for 40 to 45 minutes.
- Many ingredients may be substituted for ham.
- Check your refrigerator for leftovers.
