Polynesian Sweet And Sour Meatballs

  1. Combine first 8 ingredients lightly, but well.
  2. Form into 30 meatballs, using a rounded teaspoon.
  3. Drain pineapple; reserve liquid; refrigerate pineapple.
  4. Add water to reserved liquid to measure 3/4 cup.
  5. Combine liquid with vinegar and next 3 ingredients in large skillet.
  6. Heat to boil; add meatballs. Cover; simmer 15 to 20 minutes, or until meatballs are cooked. Stir occasionally.
  7. Stir in drained pineapple.
  8. Combine cornstarch and water; stir into meatballs.
  9. Cook until sauce is thickened, stirring constantly.
  10. Serve over hot cooked rice.
