Pizza Loaf
- 2 loaves frozen bread dough, unbaked
- 3/4 c. diced onion
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. celery salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped mushrooms
- 1 1/2 c. Mozzarella cheese, shredded
- 1 lb. hamburger
- 1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 1/2 tsp. oregano
- 1/3 tsp. garlic salt
- 1/4 c. chopped ripe olives
- 1 Tbsp. dried sweet pepper flakes
- Let dough rise according to directions.
- Combine in skillet the meat, onion, tomato sauce, mushrooms and pepper flakes.
- Add paprika, oregano, celery salt, garlic salt and pepper.
- Cover and simmer for 30 to 40 minutes. Stir in olives. Cool to lukewarm. Press dough out onto 2 greased 10 x 15-inch cookie sheets (one loaf on each sheet). Place half of meat mixture on each loaf. Spread to within 2-inches of outside.
- Sprinkle with cheese. Fold ends over filling. Brush with milk.
- Let rise in warm place for 15 minutes.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 25 minutes.
