Sunday Brunch
- 16 slices bread
- 8 slices ham or Canadian bacon
- sharp Cheddar cheese
- 6 eggs
- 3 c. milk
- 2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- 1/4 c. sauteed green pepper
- 1/4 c. sauteed chopped onion
- 1/4 c. butter
- 1 c. crushed potato chips
- Trim crusts from bread.
- On each slice of bread in a baking dish, put one piece of ham or bacon, slices of sharp Cheddar cheese and top with another slice of bread.
- Mix the eggs, milk, Worcestershire sauce and dry mustard together.
- Into this mixture, pour the green pepper and chopped onions.
- Pour egg mixture over bread and refrigerate overnight.
- Before baking, melt butter and mix it with crushed potato chips.
- Sprinkle the buttered chips over the bread and bake 45 to 55 minutes at 350u0b0.
