Marie'S 4-Alarm Chili

• 1 1/2 lb. hot Italian sausage, casings removed and crumbled
• 1 large onion, diced
• 4 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 Tbsp. Wesson oil
• 2 (15 oz.) cans Hunt's chili beans (undrained)
• 2 (15 oz.) cans Hunt's tomato sauce
• 1 (28 oz.) can Hunt's whole tomatoes, drained and crushed
• 1 c. beer or beef broth
• 2 Tbsp. Gebhardt chili powder
• 2 Tbsp. seeded and diced jalapeno peppers (optional)
• 1 tsp. cinnamon
• shredded Cheddar cheese
• sour cream
• green onions

1. In Dutch oven, cook crumbled sausage, onion and garlic in hot oil until sausage is no longer pink; drain. Add remaining ingredients except Cheddar, sour cream and green onions. Simmer, uncovered, for 45 minutes.
