Kool Kokonut Dessert
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 c. oleo
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. nuts
- 1 large carton Cool Whip
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 2 pkg. coconut pudding
- 3 c. milk
- browned coconut
- Mix the first 4 ingredients together and put it in a 9 x 13-inch pan.
- This is the crust and first layer.
- Bake 10 minutes at 375u0b0.
- Cool.
- At same time, brown 1/2 cup coconut.
- Mix 1/2 carton Cool Whip with powdered sugar and cream cheese; this is second layer and should be poured over cooled crust.
- Cook pudding in milk and cool.
- Pour over second layer.
- Add other half of Cool Whip and sprinkle with browned coconut.
- This is the fourth layer. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
- Watch coconut carefully, it browns quickly.
