Quick Lasagne
- 1 lb. lean hamburger
- 1 (12 oz.) pkg. wide egg noodles
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- garlic to taste (optional)
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. pepper
- 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
- 1 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 3/4 c. onion
- Mix cream cheese and sour cream and set aside.
- Brown hamburger.
- Add onion, seasonings and tomato sauce.
- Cover and simmer on low heat 20 minutes.
- Cook noodles and drain.
- In 9 x 13-inch casserole dish, layer half the noodles.
- Spread half the cream cheese mixture over noodles.
- Place half the meat over cream cheese.
- Repeat.
- Top with grated Cheddar cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes until bubbly.
- May be made the night before and placed in refrigerator.
