Ham And Cheese Casserole
- 4 oz. elbow macaroni
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. chopped bell pepper
- 1/4 c. chopped onion
- 1 c. chopped ham
- 1 can cream of mushroom soup
- 1 Tbsp. chopped pimento
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1/2 c. grated cheese (American, Cheddar or Velveeta)
- Add 2 tablespoons salt to 3 cups water.
- Add macaroni; bring to boil.
- Boil for 2 minutes, then cover.
- Remove from heat; let stand 10 minutes.
- Melt margarine in saucepan.
- Add chopped pepper and onion; simmer for 5 minutes.
- Add the chopped ham; brown lightly.
- Rinse macaroni and drain.
- Mix with all other ingredients, except 1/4 cup grated cheese reserved for topping. Pour mixture into casserole dish.
- Sprinkle with cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
