Grandchildren'S Favorite Casserole(My Grandchildren, Especially Dylan, Love This Dish!)

• 1 lb. ground beef
• 2 cans cream of mushroom soup
• 1 onion, grated
• 1/2 jar ripe olives (optional)
• 1/2 tsp. pepper
• 1 (8 oz.) pkg. egg noodles
• 2 cans tomato soup
• 3 c. grated Colby cheese
• 1/2 c. grated Swiss cheese
• 1 tsp. salt
• 6 ears of corn, still in shucks
• 6 large carrots, scrubbed, not peeled
• 6 medium onions
• 6 turnips, peeled (optional)
• 6 unpeeled potatoes, scrubbed
• 1 large head red cabbage, cut in wedges
• 12 Polish sausages

1. Find a large roaster that will fit on your grill with the grill lid closed.
2. Lay a clean gunny sack in the bottom of roaster.
3. Peel back corn, leaving shucks still on, but removing the corn silks, then pull shucks back in place.
4. Layer corn in the bottom of roaster pan on top of gunny sack.
