Apri-Teri Chops Or Chicken

  1. Coat meat with flour.
  2. Brown slowly in hot oil in skillet with cover.
  3. Pour off any oil.
  4. Combine remaining ingredients for sauce. (Double sauce ingredients for large amounts.)
  5. Mix well and pour over meat.
  6. Cover and reduce heat; simmer 30 to 35 minutes.
  7. Turn meat once during cooking.
  8. Add water if sauce is reduced.
  9. Remove meat.
  10. Thicken sauce if necessary with 1 teaspoon cornstarch in cold water and add to pan juices.
  11. For large amounts, after browning, meat and sauce may be placed in baking dish or pan and cooked, covered, in 350u0b0 oven for 30 to 35 minutes.
  12. Check to see sauce is not reduced after 20 minutes.
