Sweet And Sour Bean Salad
- 1 can green beans
- 1 can wax beans
- 1 can baby lima beans
- 1 can kidney beans, rinsed
- 1 c. celery, sliced
- 1 c. green pepper, cut in 1-inch pieces
- 1 small jar pimento strips
- 2 medium onions, sliced and separated into rings
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 1 c. vinegar
- 1/2 c. salad oil
- Drain beans; wash kidney beans.
- Put in large bowl celery, peppers, pimentos and onion.
- Mix well.
- Add all other kinds of beans.
- Mix together.
- Combine oil, vinegar and sugar in pan. Bring to a boil.
- Set aside and cool.
- When cool, pour over bean mix.
- Refrigerate overnight.
- (You can pour over while still warm if in a hurry.)
