Easy Chicken Casserole
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of chicken soup (undiluted)
- 1 c. milk
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- dash of white pepper
- 1 (4 oz.) can mushroom pieces and stems (undrained)
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. or 1 1/2 c. frozen mixed vegetables, partially cooked and drained
- 3 c. diced, cooked chicken or turkey
- 3 c. corn flakes, crushed to 1 1/2 c.
- 1/4 tsp. ground thyme
- 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine, melted
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Butter shallow 2-quart casserole.
- In a large bowl, blend together soup, milk, salt and pepper.
- Add mushrooms, cooked vegetables and chicken.
- Mix well.
- Turn into casserole dish.
- Combine crumbs, thyme and butter.
- Sprinkle over top.
- Bake for 30 to 35 minutes or until browned and bubbly. Yields 5 to 6 servings.
