Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. bulk hot or regular sausage
- 3 cans tomato sauce
- 2 cans tomato paste
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 2 Tbsp. garlic salt
- about 1 c. Ricotta or creamed cottage cheese
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 Tbsp. dried parsley flakes
- 1/2 tsp. dried oregano leaves
- 1/4 tsp. dried basil leaves
- 7 to 9 cooked lasagna noodles
- 2 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
- Brown ground beef and boil noodles.
- Mix cottage cheese, egg, parsley, oregano and basil.
- Mix beef, tomato sauce, tomato paste, salt, pepper and garlic salt.
- Make layer of noodles, beef sauce, cottage cheese mix and both cheeses.
- Continue these layers until you run out.
