Chicken With Sausage Stew

• 8 boneless chicken breasts, quartered lengthwise
• 1/2 c. flour with salt, pepper and a lot of oregano
• 1/4 c. olive oil
• 1 clove garlic
• 1 large Spanish onion, thinly sliced
• 1/2 lb. mushrooms, thinly sliced
• 2 green peppers, thinly sliced
• 4 large ripe tomatoes, peeled, seeded and chopped or 1 large can whole tomatoes and 1 small can whole tomatoes, drained or 1 large can whole tomatoes, not drained (both should be chopped)
• 3/4 lb. sweet Italian sausage
• 1/2 c. dry white wine
• 1 Tbsp. fresh basil or 1 tsp. dry basil
• salt and pepper to taste

1. Shake chicken in flour mixture, saute in oil until golden brown in a frying pan.
2. Remove chicken.
