Pasta In Shrimp And Wine Sauce

  1. Saute onion and garlic in 2 tablespoons butter and olive oil in 2-quart saucepan until tender but not brown.
  2. Add wine, instant bouillon, basil, salt and pepper.
  3. Bring to a boil; reduce heat. Simmer for 12 to 15 minutes or until reduced by 2/3.
  4. Add shrimp. Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes or until done to taste.
  5. Stir in tomatoes.
  6. Add pasta and 1/4 cup melted butter; toss to mix well. Add cheese and parsley; toss to mix well.
  7. May substitute 1 cup scallops for shrimp.
  8. Yield:
  9. 6 servings.
