Oatmeal Scotchies

  1. Heat oven to 375u0b0.
  2. Beat margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla until creamy.
  3. Gradually add combined flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon; mix well.
  4. Stir in remaining ingredients.
  5. Drop by level measuring tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake 7 to 8 minutes for chewy cookie or 9 to 10 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheet; remove to wire rack.
  7. I add pecans.
