Tomato Swiss Steak(Microwave Cooking)

  1. Combine flour, salt and pepper.
  2. Place steak on cutting board. Pound half of the flour mixture into each side of steak with meat mallet or edge of saucer.
  3. Cut meat into 4 pieces and place in 8-inch round or 11 x 7-inch baking dish.
  4. Sprinkle remaining flour mixture over meat.
  5. Spread onions, green pepper and tomato paste over meat.
  6. Pour in broth to cover meat.
  7. Cover with wax paper. Cook on High for 5 minutes.
  8. Cook on 60% Power (Bake) for about 10 minutes.
  9. Rearrange meat.
  10. Cook on 60% Power (Bake) 10 minutes or until tender.
  11. Serves 4.
