Hot Fruit Casserole

  1. Cook orange slices in small amount of water until tender; save juice from this cooking to add to casserole.
  2. Drain all fruit except applesauce in a colander for 1 hour.
  3. Put drained fruit in casserole dish.
  4. Add a dash of salt, applesauce, brown sugar and brandy.
  5. Mix gently.
  6. Sprinkle top of casserole with brown sugar. (I cover the top with a thin layer of brown sugar.)
  7. Put orange slices on top.
  8. Dot with butter.
  9. Cook 1 hour at 350u0b0, uncovered.
