Chicken Divan Pie
- 1 unbaked (9-inch) pie shell
- 1 Tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1/2 c. chopped onion
- 1 Tbsp. butter
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen chopped broccoli, thawed and well drained
- 1 1/2 tsp. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 c. diced cooked chicken
- 1 c. half and half
- 1 Tbsp. cornstarch
- 3 eggs
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 1/2 lb. thinly sliced turkey breast
- 1/2 c. flour
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1 cube chicken bouillon
- 1/2 c. water
- 1/2 c. white wine
- 2 lemons
- parsley
- Dip meat in flour.
- Brown quickly and remove to warm platter. Stir bouillon, water and wine into skillet. Add juice of 1 lemon and grated lemon peel. Return turkey to pan and simmer 20 to 30 minutes until tender.
- Garnish platter with lemon slices and parsley.
