Black Bottom Pie

  1. Beat egg, 1/2 cup sugar and 1/8 teapooon salt with wire whisk. Add cream cheese and beat well.
  2. With wooden spoon, stir in chocolate chips and refrigerate at least 1/2 hour.
  3. Sift together dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add liquids and beat well by hand.
  5. In paper lined muffin tins, put batter in each, filling 1/3 full.
  6. Place 1 heaping teaspoonful of the refrigerated cheese mixture on top.
  7. Bake at 350u0b0 for 25 minutes.
