Crazy Salad
- 1 head cabbage, shredded
- 2 pkg. Ramen noodles, broken (do not use seasoning packet)
- 3/4 c. toasted sunflower seeds
- 1 pkg. slivered almonds
- 1 bunch green onions
- 1 c. oil
- 6 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
- 4 Tbsp. sugar
- salt and pepper to taste or use 1 packet Ramen seasoning
- 1 c. small macaroni shells
- 4 c. shredded greens (spinach, red leaf lettuce, romaine)
- 4 carrots, pared and cut into 2-inch sticks
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen green peas
- 1 small red onion, halved, sliced crosswise and separated into rings
- 1/2 lb. cooked ham, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
- 1/2 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 1 1/2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. snipped fresh dill or 1 1/2 tsp. dill weed
- 2 hard-cooked eggs, cut into wedges
- Cook macaroni shells following package directions.
- Drain well.
- Cool to room temperature.
