Macadamia Almond Delights

  1. In a large bowl, cream the butter, shortening and sugars until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in vanilla and almond paste. Combine the flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to the creamed mixture and mix well. Stir in nuts and chips.
  2. Drop by heaping tablespoonfuls 2 in. apart onto ungreased
  3. . Bake at 350u0b0 for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Remove to wire racks to cool.
