Shipwreck
- 2 medium Irish potatoes, sliced thin
- 2 medium onions, sliced thin
- 1/2 c. celery, cut up
- 1/4 c. raw rice
- 1 lb. ground chuck
- onion and garlic salt to taste
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/2 tsp. chili powder
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1 egg
- 1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans, undrained
- 1 can condensed tomato soup, undiluted
- Layer the potatoes, onions, celery and rice in a large greased casserole, salting each layer.
- Season ground chuck with onion and garlic salts, cumin, chili powder, pepper and salt to taste and egg.
- Mix well and pat layer of meat over the vegetables.
- Add kidney beans.
- Spread the tomato soup.
- Bake, covered, at 350u0b0 for 1 1/2 hours, uncovering during the last 30 minutes.
