Seven Layered Salad
- 1 head shredded lettuce
- 1/2 c. chopped green onions
- 1 c. sliced celery
- 1 can sliced, drained water chestnuts
- 1 pkg. frozen petite peas
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1 tsp. garlic powder
- 1/2 lb. bacon, cooked and crumbled
- 2 tomatoes
- Place lettuce in bowl.
- Top with layer of green onions, layer of celery and layer of water chestnuts.
- Sprinkle frozen peas over salad.
- Spread
- mayonnaise over top.
- Sprinkle with sugar.
- Add Parmesan cheese, seasoned salt and garlic powder.
- Cover and chill 24 hours in refrigerator.
- Garnish with crumbled bacon and tomato wedges before serving.
