Strawberry Squares

• 1 c. flour
• 1/4 c. brown sugar
• 1/2 c. chopped walnuts
• 1/2 c. butter, melted
• 2 egg whites
• 2/3 c. sugar
• 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen strawberries, thawed
• 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
• 1 pkg. Dream Whip

1. Mix the first 4 ingredients; bake in a shallow pan or cookie sheet at 350u0b0 for 20 minutes.
2. Stir occasionally.
3. This mixture will be crumbly.
4. Sprinkle 2/3 of this crumb mixture in the bottom of a 9 x 13-inch pan (it will not completely cover the bottom of the pan).
5. Combine egg whites, sugar, berries and lemon juice. Beat at high speed for about 10 minutes.
6. Mix Dream Whip according to the directions on the package.
7. Fold Dream Whip into strawberry mixture by hand.
8. Spoon this mixture into the 9 x 13-inch pan and top with remaining crumbs.
9. Freeze 6 hours before serving.
10. Serves 8 to 10.
