Atlanta Gas Light Mini Pizzas
- 3/4 lb. ground beef
- 1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
- 1 Tbsp. instant minced onion
- 1 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1 can flaky refrigerator biscuits (10)
- 2/3 c. shredded Mozzarella cheese
- 3 Tbsp. melted margarine
- Brown ground beef in a large skillet on temperature controlled gas burner set at 250u0b0 to 275u0b0.
- Add tomato paste, onion, seasoning and water.
- Simmer, covered, for 5 minutes.
- Separate each biscuit into 2 layers and place on baking sheet.
- Lightly flour the bottom of a custard cup and make a shallow center in each biscuit for filling.
- Brush biscuits lightly with melted margarine.
- Bake in 400u0b0 gas oven for 10 minutes.
- Fill centers with meat mixture.
- Sprinkle generously with cheese.
- Broil 3 to 4-inches from gas flame for 2 to 3 minutes.
- Serve hot.
