Italian Cheese Bread(Makes 2 Round Loaves)

  1. In small saucepan, heat the milk, hot enough not to burn your little finger when you test it.
  2. Add the sugar; stir.
  3. Dissolve the yeast in the milk.
  4. Make sure yeast is dissolved; set aside. In large bowl, beat the eggs.
  5. Add melted butter, cheese and salt; beat well again.
  6. Add the milk mixture; stir well.
  7. Start adding the flour, 1 cup at a time, until it starts to form into a ball. Turn out onto floured board.
  8. Add enough flour to make a nice soft dough.
  9. Knead for about 10 minutes.
  10. Divide dough in half to form 2 round loaves.
  11. Let rise, covered, in warm place until double in size.
