Stromboli Bread
- 1 pkg. frozen Louis Rich bread dough
- 1/4 lb. sliced pepperoni
- 1/4 lb. sliced Provolone
- 1/4 lb. sliced American cheese
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 egg
- dash of pepper
- Raise bread dough according to directions on package.
- Cut dough in half after it has risen.
- Set 1/2 aside.
- Roll dough out on floured bread board or table surface.
- Beat 1 egg with 1 teaspoon of water, pepper and oregano.
- Spread the egg mixture on top of rolled dough, layer with pepperoni and approximately 6 slices of Provolone and 4 slices of American cheese.
- Sprinkle some oregano on top of pepperoni and cheese, then start rolling dough from any side.
- Brush some of the egg mixture on top of the bread dough.
- The egg mixture will give the bread a golden top.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for approximately 30 minutes until the top is a golden color. Repeat all of the steps for the 1/2 dough that was set aside.
- This recipe makes two batches of Stromboli Bread.
