The World'S Best - Mama'S Cookies
- 1 c. butter or margarine
- 1 c. sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1 egg
- 1 c. salad oil
- 1 c. crushed cornflakes
- 1 c. rolled oats, regular
- 1/2 c. coconut flakes
- 1/2 c. chopped pecans (not too fine)
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. soda
- 3 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- Preheat oven to 325u0b0.
- Cream butter and sugars (white and brown) until light and fluffy.
- Add egg, then oil and mix well after each addition.
- Add oats, cornflakes, coconut and pecans, stirring well.
- Then add flour, soda, salt and vanilla.
- Mix well. Form balls teaspoon size with dough.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Flatten.
- Bake 12 to 15 minutes.
- Allow to cook a few minutes before moving.
- Makes 8 to 9 dozen, depending on size.
