Pumpkin-Pecan Pie

  1. Mix
  2. brown
  3. sugar,
  4. flour,
  5. spices
  6. and salt.
  7. Beat egg yolks; add
  8. milktnd stir into first mixture.
  9. Cook over hot water until
  10. thick, stirring constantly.tdd pumpkin, butter or margarine
  11. and 3/4 cup pecans.
  12. Mix well.
  13. Pour into baked pie shell.
  14. Cover with meringue made of egg whites and sugar. Garnish with
  15. remaining pecans.
  16. Bake in moderate oven (325u0b0) for 20 minutes.
  17. Serve cold.
