Shrimp In Angel Hair Pasta
- 1/4 c. margarine
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/4 c. minced celery
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 c. half and half
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/3 c. chicken broth
- 1 lb. medium shrimp, boiled, peeled and deveined
- 1 dash cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp. Zatarain's liquid crab boil
- 1/2 c. chopped parsley and green onions for garnish
- angel hair vermicelli
- Melt margarine in a 2 quart saucepan; saute onion and celery until clear.
- Add flour and blend to make a smooth paste.
- Add half and half slowly stirring constantly.
- Add seasoning and chicken broth and cook 10 minutes.
- Remove from heat and add shrimp. Return to heat and cook until heated thoroughly.
- Serve a generous amount over pasta and garnish lightly with green onions and parsley.
