Oyster Rockerfeller Casserole

  1. Preheat oven to 450u0b0.
  2. Grease 9 x 13 casserole.
  3. Drain oysters and arrange in single layer on bottom of dish.
  4. Melt butter and saute celery and onion until soft.
  5. Add parsley, spinach, aniseed, Worcestershire, bread crumbs, salt, and pepper. Spread this mixture over oysters and bake for 30 minutes.
  6. Remove and if necessary, pour off water.
  7. Sprinkle with cheese and a very thin layer of bread crumbs and bake another 10 minutes or until browned.
  8. Serves 6.
